IRM Planting Requirements for Herculex™I, YieldGard® Corn Borer, YieldGard® VT Triple™, Herculex® Xtra, and Agrisure® 3000GT |

YieldGard® Corn Borer and Herculex™ I require a refuge of at least 20% of your corn acres be planted to hybrids that do not contain B.t. technology to control corn borers. The refuges may be configured like any of those illustrated below or in a separate field with a minimum of one half mile, one quarter mile preferred. Refuge strips must be a minimum of four rows wide, six rows preferred.
- Common refuge for Agrisure® 3000GT, YieldGard VT Triple™, or Herculex® Xtra require at least 20% of your corn acres be planted to hybrids that do not contain B.t. technologies to control corn borers or rootworms.
- Separate refuges for Agrisure® 3000GT, YieldGard® VT Triple, and Herculex® Xtra require at least 20% of your corn acres be planted to hybrids that do not contain B.t. technology to control corn borers and at least 20% of your corn acres be planted to hybrids that do not contain rootworm B.t. technology, i.e. 20% to rootworm only and 20% to corn borer only.
- Corn rootworm refuges, either commn or separate, may be configured in any of the same options as corn borer refuges, except separate fields must be adjacent and separated only by a road, path, ditch, etc., but not by another field.

Seed products with the LibertyLink® (LL) trait are resistant to the herbicide glufosinate ammonium, an alternative to glyphosate in corn and combine high-yielding genetics with the powerful, non-selective postemergent weed control of Ignite® herbicide for optimum yield and excellent weed control. |
